In this video Krista shows us a great drill to work on your shoulder/upper body turn. Proper shoulder turn seems like basic info but it is a very important piece of the golf swing.
- Use a longer club or alignment stick - You'll want to place the club/alignment stick across the front of your shoulders to use as a guide
- Create a 4 foot zone - Have an area roughly 4 feet in front of the golf ball that will act as the "zone" your club should be pointing in when you turn
- Feel your body "coil and load" - When you turn and your lead shoulder turns down to the "zone" you should feel your body coil and load at the top of your backswing
